SIZE MATTERS!

Our food choices are influenced by many factors. Two of these are taste and value for money. Often take out foods allure temptation by satisfying these two factors simultaneously – serving large portions of energy dense, nutrient poor foods at affordable prices! Many of us are so accustomed with the habit of upsizing our meals, or ordering sides of chips, nachos or wedges with our mains after our seemingly small entrees. Oh, and we can all miraculously make room for dessert! The aftermath: food coma (the need to sit down for a bit or sleep it off because you know you’ve overdone it… again)! Here’s one quick little tip: combat unnecessary energy overload by filling up on salad! Eating out? Love pasta? (me too!) Try swapping large pasta with side salad for large salad with a side of pasta! It’s all about perception. Maybe it’s time to work on your relationship with food and health?
