It’s amazing where life leads you sometimes. The people you’ve encountered, the experiences you’ve had, the hardships you’ve lived through, the trials and tribulations, the achievements and triumphs all contribute to who you are or teach you who you don’t want to become.
Oftentimes, catalysts to dreams becoming realities stem from the briefest of conversations; sometimes even with those whom you least expect. ‘Lightbulb’ moments, epiphanies, perspectives. Our response to our experiences and circumstances shape us. I would even go further to say that our response is pivotal in moulding us.
You and I have choices to make every day. Choose to forgive quickly, press on, keep moving (because staying stationary and getting caught up hasn’t gotten anyone closer to their goals, dreams and ambitions), keep growing, stay focused, work hard and dream big!
Learn to love the life you live and live the life you love.
As I ponder and look back on my life, I realise that above creating measurable goals and finding tangible ways to achieve them – for instance, hitting the gym to train and workout to attain that goal physique, or eating nutritious foods for health – keeping mentally stimulated and motivated to run the course you’ve chosen is far more important. To have that brain fuel to keep you pressing on when times are strenuous and your commitment is tested.
